[She can feel her face getting a bit warm herself, but she forces herself to keep going.]
Yeah...like, I've made a lot of cool friends here too. But...I wouldn't have been able to if it wasn't for you. And even if I didn't know any of them...as long as I know you, then I know I'll be okay.
[Webby is surprised herself, really. She looks down, kicking one foot a bit.]
Yeah... I think... I mean, I'm not sure how to say it, but...the friendship I have with you is so, so, so different than everyone else's. The boys are like brothers to me, and then there's everyone here, and Uncle Scrooge, and Granny, and Launchpad, and it's just...
[She's proud of her vocabulary, so to see it failing like this is quite startling. Why can't she find the words to describe their relationship? Do such words exist?]
... Our friendship is more special than any of that. And it's like "special" doesn't even begin to describe it!
It is more, it's definitely more! It's... more than friendship, more than family...
[But then what else is left? What other types of relationships are there? Maybe it'll help if she looks are this factually. Treat it like a math problem, or an essay - homework!
[With a startled shout, Webby flails and falls off the bed, her legs up in the air, landing on her back. Her entire face is now as red as the fake blood they like to play with.]
Here she paused for a moment. This subject wasn't one to really joke lightly about, and she'd be terrible to lead Webby on like that.
But then...it wasn't the first time she'd considered that very question herself either. The more she had reflected on herself, on who she wanted to be and what she wanted in life, the more she realized that her feelings for Webby went much deeper than friendship. That she wanted more.
And the rush of feelings she had were both frightening and exciting. Even now, as she really thought and considered what she wanted to do, the rush of emotions left her shaking a little bit.
Sitting up, she finally looked up at Webby and said softly, "I...think I'd like to give it a try."
Webby stared... and her shy expression began to turn into a smile. A big one, an excited one - and suddenly giggles began to burst out of her like a stream of bubbles. She couldn't quite explain this happiness, but found it didn't really matter.
"Okay... okay!" She suddenly dove in for a hug, her head tucking right under Lena's, like matching puzzle pieces, like a key that found the perfect lock. "Okay! Then... you're my girlfriend, Lena!"
All the clenching in her chest began to ease up and melt away.

Like... if it was just you and me here... I'd miss the boys! And everyone else I've met here! But... with you here, I'd... still be happy.

Webby wasn't sure what she just heard. Because it almost sounded like Lena was saying something like she... wanted...?
"Huh?" She repeated again, sitting up, her birthday crown tilted.
One more for the running gag! "...Huuuh?"

She knew she was laying it on a bit thick, but she also couldn't get herself to stop either.

Okay her heart was going to explode at this rate.
"Does that mean you'd... maybe... like to be... I guess... a couple?"
